🌎 Our Earth Day Adventure!
We always go to one of our houses. Before we play, we grab these GIANT garbage bags (the black ones that crinkle) and we put on our gloves. My gloves are bright blue! We go all over the streets near the park and we pick up all the yucky garbage. 🚮
It’s actually a super important job! Like, if we don’t pick it up, it could go in the river and the fish would eat it! Yuck! We find the weirdest things, too. In 2025, someone found a boot! A whole boot! And we get to run around and be outside, which is the fun part of the chore. We put all the full bags by the big trash cans for the garbage truck to take. Teamwork makes the dream work! ✨
🎨 Fun and Games
When we’re all done and our hands are clean (we use a lot of soap!), that’s when the party starts! 🎉
First, we always do an Earth Day activity. We get big crayons and markers and we draw pictures of the Earth! Mine is always so blue and green, and I always draw a little heart on it because I love Earth so much. Sometimes we draw our favorite animals, too, like cats or maybe a dolphin!
Then, we play games! We love “The Floor is Lava”. Sometimes we make up our own games, like “99 Days in the Garage” where we pretend to hide from our parents and try and survive.
It’s so much fun to hang out and know that we helped the planet. I can’t wait for April 22nd!
